Fletcher Richman is a engineer, entrepreneur, and a VC.
He studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he started a couple of failed startups before cofounding Spark Boulder, a student incubator and coworking space that teaches students modern technology skills and provides a space coworking and events. He also helped start TEDxCU, and built a lot of cool hardware including gloves that use motion to control music.
Fletcher was the first intern at PivotDesk, a Techstars company backed by Foundry Group. That internship turned into a full time role as a Growth Engineer after graduating school, where he built analytics infrastructure and data-driven marketing systems.
Fletcher’s current role is Platform Manager at Galvanize Ventures. Galvanize is a 21st century school for entrepreneurs and engineers. Fletcher works for their venture arm to provide support, resources, and scalable systems to the portfolio companies.
